Georgi Dimitrov first prize at Biasini Competition

A fantastic achievement for my former student at Kug in Graz Georgi Dimitrov, 21 years old from Sofia, Bulgaria.

George (Jojo) played two outstanding performances in the semifinal and final, held in the wonderful Teatro dell'Opera of Bologna. Jojo was also awarded for the best interpretation of the compulsory piece wrote for the competition by the composer Alex Nante.

This is the second time that a student of mine got this prestigious prize. Before him, Emanuele Buono got the first prize in 2013 in Basel. Congratulations George! I hope it will give you lots of success!
